1. Overview
World Cup 2026 Live Probability ("we", "us", "our") is a sports analytics and informational tool. We calculate World Cup qualification probabilities using statistical simulations and publicly available market pricing data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
2. Information We Collect
We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use this site.
Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage statistics, including pages visited, language preference, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally. IP addresses are anonymised before processing (anonymize_ip: true).
Language preference:Your language preference (English, Traditional Chinese, or Spanish) is stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
3. How We Use Information
Analytics data is used solely to understand how users interact with the site and to improve our service. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
Google Analytics 4:We use GA4 to measure site traffic. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. You may opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cloudflare: This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Workers for server-side computation. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP addresses) as part of its infrastructure. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use tracking cookies. We use browser local storage only to remember your language preference across visits. This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
6. Data Retention
Anonymous analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google Analytics' default retention policy. Language preference data in local storage persists until you clear your browser data.
7. Your Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. Since we collect only anonymous analytics data, most GDPR requests can be addressed by using the GA4 opt-out tool linked above or clearing your browser's local storage.
